Did you know OAMA is locally owned by head instructor Matt “Hammer” Hache? He has over 18 years of experience in martial arts, training with and competing against the best around the globe, and has taught many instructors in Ottawa.
You’ll always find Hammer in the corner come fight time helping coach students at BJJ tournaments and OAMA’s Professional MMA fighters. Hammer has also lead in the development and growth of the leadership and children’s programs at OAMA, and has been asked by other dojo owners to teach them on how to grow their programs.
In the martial arts world, he’s kind of a legend.
This month is Professor Hammer’s birthday and he wants to celebrate with you!
He, along with Kru Amy Reid and Coach Jo Maisonneuve, is teaching a Women’s Self Defense seminar on November 28th and asking for donations on behalf of Harmony House. He’s passionate about martial arts and helping our community.
This event has become an annual tradition and they hope you will share it with all the women in your life! It will fill up fast!
