A year ago our world was turned upside down.
Families are dealing with social isolation. And children are being crushed by it. Many are getting used to isolating and it is making them more vulnerable to bullying and not being included.
If you’re fighting an uphill battle, martial arts can help.
In our children’s programs, we teach not only discipline but also self-worth and overcoming bullying. We concentrate on giving children the tools, knowledge, and strategies so they understand they are enough and they are great children. And we focus on what makes them unique.
Martial arts is the number one way to overcome bullying, low self-esteem, and low self-confidence.
All OAMA’s kids’ instructors overcame bullying or low self-esteem with martial arts. They followed our path of martial artists to athletes to instructors.
Ethan Major is one of them. He defeated it through the lessons he learned on the mats. And now he is one of the top athletes in his age group in North America!
You can learn about his journey by watching his podcast with Professor Hammer on OAMA’s YouTube channel. There are also podcasts with all our instructors, talking about what led them to martial arts.
