Here’s what martial artists do get better at their craft – Professor Hammer & Ethan Major | OAMA Podcast | BJJ
The 17-year-old phenom🏋️♂️
If you haven’t seen Ethan Major in action, you are missing out!
He is a top BJJ athlete who has competed in competitions all over Ontario and in the U.S. in Las Vegas and Orlando. He rivals adults twice his size and is always up for a match.
Ethan has been recognized by companies and is sponsored by brands like Flow Alkaline Spring Water, Jits Life Brand, Elevata BJJ, Run2Patty and Diamond Insurance Group.
He didn’t always have the confidence he shows on the mats. Ethan faced bullies in school when he was younger and his parents signed him up for martial arts at age 11 as a way for him to increase his confidence and self-esteem. Now, not only does he compete on stage in front of audiences, but he also teaches OAMA’s children’s programs and is a mentor to many.
When asked what he is doing now, Ethan said “I am trying my best to stay focused on training.” He is currently in Orlando, Florida training with some of the best athletes for upcoming tournaments in the next 3 weeks.
Watch the podcast interview to get to know Ethan better and to learn what he does to keep on top. Professor Hammer and Ethan discuss some of the tools they use in training sessions with black belts from around the world, and ones they use with students at OAMA. A martial artist is always learning and always trying to better themselves.
