Do you know why Justin Primrose started BJJ?
Did you know when Justin Primrose first started martial arts, he wanted to learn MMA and striking?
But once he tried Jiu-Jitsu, he loved it and never looked back!
Justin is inspiring and encouraging as an athlete and instructor, teaching the children and adult BJJ classes. When you see him on the mats, you can’t help but feel energized. And don’t let his size fool you…he’s a gentle giant! Unless you’re his opponent in a competition. 😉
This week get to know Justin on Meet the Team Monday.
Watch the full interview here.
Justin started in martial arts to change the negative path he was on.
When he was introduced to Jiu-Jitsu, he knew it was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life.
“I love living the Jiu-Jitsu lifestyle. I feel like this is what I was meant to do”, he said. “I know it can help other people like it’s helped me.”
Justin said it’s not just the art, but the people who make it special – the staff and the members. “When I’m feeling down, I come in and teach a class and it changes my energy…especially the kid’s classes.”
He credits the positive influence of BJJ and OAMA for where he is now. It’s given him opportunities to meet amazing people and travel all over the world.
Our OAMA staff team is incredible!
They are all knowledgeable, helpful, easy to talk to, and passionate about martial arts. They love what they do and you can tell.
